Gifts of Help

Mission

Gifts of Help is a non-profit organization specifically designed to assist the homeless, the
ill forgotten, drug addicts, and others living in or roaming through the many communities and
surrounding areas in or near Gary, Indiana, by providing mobile hot meals, food baskets and
toiletries.

Vision – Visionary

The Visionary, Executive Director Carla Jude, implemented the Gifts of Help outreach
service prior to the 1999 transition of manufacturing services and other employment entities that
resulted in continual economic devastation and deplorable conditions. The Gifts of Help, mobile
service, then, personally funding by its visionary, provided hot meals, food baskets, and toiletries
in an increased homeless society.

The mission has increased. The now organized Gifts of Help of Restoration for Destiny Ministries,
Incorporated, (501c3), is reaching out to the community service agencies, department stores,
food service entities and others that are willing to support or donate to the Gifts of Help in the
areas of toiletries, nonperishable items, and blankets.
